What do you need in a spreadsheet? That all depends upon how detailed you want your spreadsheet to be. Basic information you will need to have are game date, Team played, # of seats total, # tickets sold, Ticket cost, Ticket revenue, and net profit. One of the first things you will need to do is to grab a legal sized pad and your favorite writing instrument. Start with a list of the bare bones amount of information that you need. "Bare bones" information might be: Date of game, Team played, cost, income, and profit/loss. Example of breakdowns by section
Keeping track of your entire season will allow you to make more informed choices in future seasons. You will have all the data from previous seasons allowing you to compare your current season to your previous results.

If you would like to not have to worry about building your spreadsheet, you can have a custom built spreadsheet built exclusively for you by the Season Ticket Manager. MLB season starts in April, so be sure to inquire about your custom built spreadsheet by December 31, 2008. 2009 team schedules are currently available.
